2024 has already started with a bang, and there are still plenty of surprises in store before the year is out. You won’t want to miss out, so read on to discover all your favourites. From Morad and Laura Pausini in January to Depeche Mode and Nicki Nicole, there’s certainly no shortage of variety… Here’s how the music line up is looking over the next couple of months!
Concerts in Barcelona in January
The year started strongly and has already seen some top-notch artists bring the party to the darkest and coldest month of the year. Morad, a Spanish rapper and singer who draws on French influences with millions of views online, will headline the Sant Jordi Club over three consecutive nights on 19, 20 and 21 January.
Simple Plan, one of the best punk pop groups on the planet, then visit Barcelona as they tour their sixth album, “Harder Than It Looks”. They’ll appear at the Sant Jordi Club on 22 January 2024.
To close out the month, Laura Pausini, recently named Latin Grammy Person of the Year 2023, will unveil her new album, Almas Paralelas, on 29 January at Palau Sant Jordi, coinciding with her 30th anniversary in the music business.
Best concerts in Barcelona in February
International superstar Bad Gyal – who just so happened to be born just up the road in Vilassar de Mar – brings her La Joia 24 Karats Tour to Barcelona. On 9 February 2024, you’ll be able to enjoy all her greatest tracks at Palau Sant Jordi.
Crystal Fighters, a band formed in 2007 in London, England, and Navarra, Spain, are set to perform at the Razzmatazz on 16 February. They’re a uniquely English/Spanish infused musical collaboration that bring together a mixture of indie and electronic music, such as their big hits “You and I” and “Love Is All I Got”.
Concerts in Barcelona in March
Depeche Mode continues to fill venues at each of their performances. The charisma and allure of Dave Gahan remain intact, and he continues to be a great master of ceremonies. On March 16th at the Palau Sant Jordi, they will repeat the great success they had at their last appearance at Primavera Sound. Are you going to miss it?
Nicki Nicole, one of the most relevant Latin female voices today, will present her urban style in her new work “Alma.” On March 22nd, at the Sant Jordi Club, the Argentine rapper and songwriter will perform all her greatest hits to be remembered as one of the best concerts of 2024.
